Forest Kindergarten - Privacy & CONSENT Information

In May 2018 the GDPR European Union Privacy Law came in to effect. In order to be fully compliant with this I am highlighting how I store and use images and how I store and use information related to those images. 

Information

• If you opt in to having photos taken of your child then I will have their name and a record of the dates they attend the setting. I will also have your name and, if entered, email address. I will also request from the Forest Kindergarten the date only of their birthday (ie the day, not month and year.). This information allows me to correctly name each photo and provide a password for you to access your images online. This information is not kept once the order process is completed.

• These details are used for the purpose of processing and communicating with you regarding the images taken at Forest Kindergarten but you will not be entered onto any mailing lists.

• You may request a copy of any of the data I have related to you at any time. You may also request that I remove any information at anytime.

Images

• Whilst processed photos taken at Forest Kindergarten are stored on my computer only, this is password protected.  Once edited they are stored by name in encrypted folders.

• No location data is stored with the images.

• Images may be used for promotional purposes across my website, my social media and printed promotional material.  These will be low resolution and/or watermarked images. They will never be associated with your Child’s name and no reference will be made to Forest Kindergarten. You can withdrawn this consent at anytime.

• Images will never be made available to third parties.

• As with all photos that I take, images are stored for a minimum of 2 years and always on a password protected drive.
